NY / NJ 440

Running from Staten Island to New Jersey, 440 is one of the region's most notorious speed traps. With a limit of 50 for much of its length (but perfectly able to handle speeds in excess of 70), 440 sort of lulls you into speeding.

The only exception is when the wind blows the stench from the several landfills across the road, in which case you're pretty safe. No cop in his right mind would stop to give you a ticket when the winds send the stink over the road.
