Located at 51 No. Front Street in Kingston, New York, Dallas Hot Weiners is a must if you're shunpiking through the Hudson Valley area. I've been eating there for nearly half a century, and the place hasn't changed a bit. It's convenient to free roads 209, 28, and 32; as well as toll road I-87.

The specialty, of course, is hot dogs, served with a secret sauce that I've never been able to duplicate, despite years of trying. Just order the dogs "with everything." You won't be sorry.

Burgers, sandwiches, and other standbys are also available, but you have to try the dogs at least once in your life.

Prices are cheap, and every diner gets a Tootsie Roll on the way out.
